Working Time : 75 to 90 minutes can be divided into 2 sessions.
Applicability : Can be used for English, Marathi, Gujarati and Hindi, Tamil population.

I.C.I.T. is an adaptation of Revised Amsterdam Kinder Intelligence Test (RAKIT). RAKIT is a Dutch Intelligence Test. It is a adapted for Indian children by Jnana Prabodhini's Institute of Psychology (JPIP), Pune, in collaboration with two Dutch Universities and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. The adaptation was developed after 4 years of rigorous work.

Widely Used : Within a short period of 2 years of its publication it is being used in seven cities in Maharashtra, as well as in Delhi, U. P., Karnataka, A.P., and Tamil Nadu. It is also used in Dubai for Indian Children.

Content : I.C.I.T. consists of 9 sub-tests as detailed overleaf. Some are verbal, some partially verbal and some performance.

Age Range : Age range of I.C.I.T. is 4 to 12 years.

Normative Sample : For each age group 50 boys and 50 girls were tested. 6 monthly norms are given in the Technical Manual.

Abilities Measured : Perception of form (Gestalt), Concept formation, Memory span, Associative Memory Span, Learning and Remembering, Spatial Visualisation, Visual Motor-Co-ordination.
